Peach cottage is a traditional 'longere' in the heart of the French countryside.
Nestling in nearly an acre of sunny private gardens it offers a tranquil base
to explore the many delights of the beautiful Loire Valley and surrounding area.

Loads to do in the area including sightseeing the famous Chateaux in the Loire, known as the valley of the kings. Shopping in cosmopolitan Tours and motor sport in Le Mans which has an excellent car and racing museum at the track. Nearby leisure lakes have waterslides,windsurfing,archery,pedaloes and canoeing etc. Nearby Golf, fishing. At Amboise there is the Chateau where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last few years of his life, well worth a visit with pedalo rides in the grounds and reasonably priced cafe. Amboise has lots of pavement cafes and lovely gift shops. Peach Cottage is a detached private villa with nothing shared and no owner on site, set in a small hamlet of 5 houses, the nearest house is around 85 metres away. Feel free to help yourself to any fruit from our garden - cherries, blackberries, peaches, grapes,walnuts, etc, when in season.
