In a lovely quiet spot, and offering total
privacy,Peach Cottage is ideally
located for visiting all the Chateaux of the Loire and Loir Valleys.
Between June and September, there are festivals and fairs in most
towns and villages. The firework displays, live music and the sampling
of local foods and wines on warm summer evenings are experiences not
to be missed!

The little town of Chateau la Valliere
is around 3 miles away.
It offers all the traditional French food shops
- boulangerie , epicerie, boucherie and patisserie.
It also has good supermarkets, several restaurants,
a weekly market and a pleasant swimming lake.

Chenonceau, Chambord, Langeais,
Azay Le Rideau and Loches are all easily accessible. As is Amboise,
where as well as the main Chateau, you can visit the home where
Leonardo da Vinci spent the last years of his life.

The world famous Le Mans circuit
with its many Car and Bike races is only 30 minutes away on
the Autoroute.

of Tours with its wonderful shops and restaurants and medieval
old town is an easy 30 minutes drive. |

and rivers offer swimming, fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing,

It is 2 minutes to a stables offering
tacking by
the hour or day.

of Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Amboise and others which offer
wine tastings.
You can even go flying light
aircraft at Saumur or
take hot air balloon rides
over the Chateaux! |
