the warmer climate of the Loire Valley at an easy drive from the ports.

Nearest? We are a located an easy 10 minutes drive from the town of Chateau la Valliere
on very quiet roads and 7 miles from Chateau du Loir a similarly easy drive. Both have large hypermarkets.
There is a shop and boulangerie in the village of Couesmes, under 5 mins quiet drive away.

Peach Cottage is a lovely gite with a private pool and games barn. It is detached and not part of a gite complex.
Handily placed to explore the historic chateaux in the Loire Valley as well as
local leisure lakes and the beautiful towns of Tours and Le Mans.
Renting a gite in France means you can explore at your own pace
and Peach Cottage is a tranquil base to relax.

At only 25 miles from Tours with its flights from Stansted,
Peach Cottage is also easily accessible by air, even for a weekend break

The A28 motorway.
The A28 brings you all the way south, well away from Paris and the Boulevard Periphique.
But if you do fancy a 'stopover' in Paris it can make a convenient break in the car journey to or from Calais.
Paris can also be visted by train from the local station, about 15 minutes away at Chateau du Loir.
Chateau du Loir is also the motorway exit.
